Captain Ziv Shilon, a platoon commander in the Giv’ati Brigade, was severely wounded while on routine patrol near the Israeli-Gaza border in October this year. Shilon received medical care and is now stable, but his hands were mangled.
Now, he’s back with his soldiers, and in a special ceremony this week, presented them with their combat soldier pins.
