What a Beautiful Sight!!!

“I found this on facebook, and since I’ve never been to Israel, I was fascinated, and a little overwhelmed just looking at it.  I can’t imagine what it would be like to stand in the place where our Lord’s body was laid.  I would give anything to have been there that morning when they found the empty tomb!

This is Station of the cross 14 in Jerusalem.  I think from time to time we need to be reminded, that Jerusalem is not just a city to fight over.  This is the very city where our Lord was crucified, buried and Resurrected!  This is where he performed many miracles.  This is where he drove the money changers from the Temple.  Of course the Temple was different, then.  And now the PA and other’s are saying that this precious piece of ground has no history for the Jew or Christian.  They are dumping artifacts in the landfill.  It breaks my heart.

This is the piece of ground where our Lord and Savior is returning to.  I can’t imagine what it would be like to walk the roads of  Jerusalem and Israel where our Lord walked.  To look at the hill where they crucified Him.

And yet they deny His power, and bow to another God in the very spot that He was crucified, buried and raised from the dead!  If you ask me, this in itself is an abomination.  I suppose that is why Jesus is returning there, to end this craziness, and establish His kingdom, of which there will be no end.  Every knee will bow!  Amen, Maranatha.

Mathew 15:46  “So Joseph bought some linen cloth, took down the body, wrapped it in the linen, and placed it in a tomb cut out of rock.  Then he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb.”

Station of the cross no. 14 – Jesus is laid in the tomb  “I found this picture on facebook, at  Holy Land Pilgrimage’s Site
